St Peter’s Primary School in Partick will close its doors for the last time at the end of term after 114 years educating the children of Partick. The school held a special mass followed by a reception for local residents and staff and pupils both past and present.
Cordia worked closely with the school to provide catering for the event and served up a fitting farewell treat including home baking, fresh fruit and a selection of snacks.
Area manager Ian Wilson was proud of his staff who, working closely with the education staff, created a fitting farewell to a school that has been pivotal in the lives of so many.
“There was a great turnout and everyone was really happy. It seemed like the whole of Partick came along,” said Ian.
“Every member of the catering team pulled together to make this a special day. It was a great team effort and a really enjoyable day for everyone.”
St Peter’s Primary School will merge with nearby Notre Dame Primary after the summer break. Our Fuel Zone catering staff will be relocated across several schools.
